Well, 2021 seems to have just been a continuation of 2020. Did it not get the memo? Oh well. Here in my part of the world, things just kept chugging along. Montana is pretty removed from all the drama and histrionics of the rest of the world.

So when I went on a recent train adventure to the west coast a few weeks ago, I was treated to the anxiety, anger and finger-pointing that is becoming all too common these days.

I guess if I had one resolution for 2022 it would be to give more compliments to people, more smiles. Life is hard now. We should not be mean to each other. So let's all resolve to be kinder in 2022.
