October Reflections

October is my favorite month of all the months,
Cool, fresh days and nights following the warm Indian summer,
The flowers of trees are changing color, led by my namesake flower,
The Cosmos Flower leading the parade of color for the annual spectacular show.
But the most important reason of all, 42 years ago, I got married on my birthday,
Eventually, by October 30, it is my birthday! BI was born 68 years ago in Oakland.
Rejoicing another year gone by with the love of my life by my side.
