I'm the child ragged and cold
In the freezing rain

Don't you recognize me?
I'm the preteen in the corner
Scared and trembling

Don't you recognize me?
I'm the young adult
Trying to make it on my own

Don't you recognize me?
I'm the prostitute on TV
With my pimp watching me

Don't you recognize me?
I'm the mother of a son
Born after a session

I'm the middle aged woman
Wondering where the years went
