Morning Walk on Wednesday
13 Izzat 163 B.E. – September 20, 2006 at 8:43:11 AM PST

I took my walking this morning before I read the weather forecast. I over slept this morning and didn’t turn the computer on or retrieve my e-mail before walking around the block. When I did get look at the messages the subject line on today’s weather prediction read Smoke and Dust Advisory this AM.

I looked out the front window and notice the wind was blowing at a study rate, but the sky looked clear, so Mom and I went for our morning walk. According to the weather message, limiting outdoor activities is advisable. I live in Las Vegas, sunburn easily, and get cranky when I’m in the hot weather too long so I always limit my day light outdoor time. Lately I’ve been restricting my evening and night outdoor activities, but that is another story.

Today’s Weather Trivia Question: “ Ground that is permanently frozen is called what?” The choices are Permatex, Permaground, Permatouch, or Permafrost.

I get a weather prediction sent to my e-mail box two or three times a day, more if there is severe weather. It’s free subscription Channel 3 has; I like the idea of having a weather report several times a day. I also have a crime report delivered to my e-mail box, included in this is any criminal activity within my own neighborhood.
