Bitter Injustice
The street was dark & cold
No-one was about
To watch him as he limped silently
Then fell & crumbled to the ground.

He lay distraught & in pain
He had been a victim of violence
A victim of a cruel & viscious gang
Who felt no pity or sorrow for him.

He lay lifeless in a ball
His face grazed & bruised badly
His chest seared
Torn savagely apart.

In this moment of horrid & torturous pain
He tasted a bitter hatred for his own race
Who tore him apart & left him to die
Yet complained about their freedom & rights.
