Sunken Ship
Sunken Ship
May 09, 2006

A vessel upon land
Timber and gallant
Leers over sea
With a pirate’s mind
Plunge in depth
the sea of blue
Innocent water
Cover head to toe
Submerge deeply
A peace stow-away
calm says the Captain
as he rapes the tide
Stirring the currents
Rock against wood
The curves of smooth
wind westward
Cutting ripples
into waves of discourse
and of displeasure
Plundered and plunged
Into the heart
of Atlantis they seek
for the gold mine
Night falls and the calm
overtakes still
My Ship, still the lust
the Captain whisper
Rock against rise
torrent lost high
Clouding the unity
of Heaven and Hell
Gathering followers
Into skyward fall

Down goes the Leo
Down goes the Captain
with his stern ship
But within the Lord
He seeks forgiveness
Denial, his fate was
met in trial
Judgment cries
the Lord and pillars
of disciples gather round
If the Lord Almighty
does sent Hell along the way,
come away,
Hell is great,
Tempted Beelzebub
who’s scorn burns
with passion that stirs
in deep with
common succumbs’
loin covered by flesh
of youth unachieved
and lost, and as
the Captain stand against
Iris and her eels
The stars shine deadly
tears twinkle
in their pitied eyes
and he falls
like man who fell
upon weeping knees
before the Garden of Eden
in flames over took
As Captain,
his sunken ship,
did the gods took
to burn in Hell.
