The Weatherman
Flip the news on
Flip it off again
Weather's all we talk about
In the Midwest area
They get paid to tell me
What the weather will be today

So thank you, dear Mr Weatherman
You lied again today
I carried around my unbrella
Waiting for the rain
I grabbed my winter coat
But never saw the snow
You said it would be sunny
But then we got syrup-like sleet and slush

I'm not listening to you anymore
Your predictions all untrue
The only thing I know now
Is what the weather won't do
My neighbors all still watch
On competing channels
To see if all of you agree
Or accidentally get it right

But I know better now
I do- you lying weatherman
That segment no longer calls me
I look out my window instead
