How's Your Ceremony Going?...
** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only **

People say, ‘What is the sense of our small effort?’
They cannot see that we must lay one brick at a time, take one step at a time.
A pebble cast into a pond causes ripples that spread in all directions.
Each one of our thoughts, words and deeds is like that.
No one has a right to sit down and feel hopeless.
There’s too much work to do.

As I was reading the morning news online this morning, I found this article on AOL, and thought to place it out because I just know someone in these so called United States will find something wrong with the idea that female students at this school are getting shown 'special' treatment than the boys at this school. I am sure it will be going against someones rights! *Laugh* Yet, I personally feel it's a beautiful thing happening and more schools should incorporate this in theirs.

And well...this article reminded me also, of a night not too far back, whereby we held a ceremony. I asked about someone who was in ICU and who was on life support. I can not speak the souls name that has since passed, but we all felt his loss and still do. In this ceremony, I asked about this soul and it was told that he actually had crossed and fought to come back several times, but something here was keeping him. Without going into detail, I asked if there was anyway that he could be spared and stay. It was asked of me if I would be willing to Sun Dance for this man's life? The thought in my mind was, "Geez...what are we talking about here? My life is a SunDance!"
You see, for me life is a ceremony. And it is how we do perform(or do) that ceremony, good or bad that will determine how our lives will go. This is my thought. If we throw bad medicine on another(wish them bad things to happen, for example), then it is we will get it back what we have given out. If we treat another with disrespect, then we are doing a bad ceremony. Remember also, that whatever you throw out there, not only had an affect on you, but others also. I call it a 'ripple affect', like throwing a stone into a pond...BTW, How's your ceremony going? Just 'food for thought' this day! Wishing you peace in your moments! *Heart*
