Multitasking difficulties in triple digit temperatures

My week went quickly
Triple digit temperatures
My days went slowly

The triple digit temperatures are here to stay. I don’t enjoy driving any more because of the lack of a working air conditioner in the car. Every time I drive it’s the “blow dryer effect even when the wind isn’t blowing.

Saturday Sunday
Very little accomplished
Stayed indoors all day

I had to go out twice during the week. Therefore, on Saturday and Sunday I remained indoors. I didn’t do very much except rest and recover from the heat. I did make one important decision; I decided to make my trips to the store, bank, and other places every other day this summer. Sometimes I will go on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Sometimes I will go on Tuesday and Thursday. That way I have a day to recover between trips into the triple digit temperatures.

Weariness sits in
Up after midnight writing
Where did the time go

In triple digit temperatures, I can’t focus on more then one thing at a time. Sometimes it’s difficult to focus on doing one thing. The best thing I did no Saturday was to sit down on the couch and doze.
