Snow's Strings of Memory
The April 3, 2013 prompt for "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUS" is Hold your hands out in front of you, palms down. Imagine that you have a total of six strings tied around your fingers.
Write about the objects that are dangling from the strings.
Considering that my memory has been a bit mudgy1 lately the strings are probably to remind me of missing sections of my memory. My memory issues are sketchy, little sections of memories that should be there but are missing or items I have laid down and then forgotten where I put them. Sometimes I get the feeling that I am looking at a jigsaw puzzle with pieces missing. These missing memories frighten me because I don't know whether I am dealing with normal issues of stress or an indication of Alzheimer's.

Important to me
My prayer beads because I lay them down and sometimes forget where I put them My prayer book because sometimes I put it in my purse and forget in which section I placed it My medication with the times I am supposed to take the tablets each day My coffee cup with a note telling me I am supposed to wash it every day A note telling me how much cash I spent on any specific day A note reminding me to write down the poem or story idea before I forget it
