Swimming out to cut the grass...
Someone needs to invent a lawn mower with an outboard motor on it.
Our yard is waterlogged and impossible to do the lawn.
Every second day it comes out sunny and breezy and grows the grass a bit more. Soon people won't be able to see our address any longer and they will forget we lived.
Even the pizza shop won't find our door to deliver those thin crust supremes and fire eaters.
But the people on WDC will realise and write a story of this overgrown dilemma. They'll pen poems appealing for us, that we'd be remembered.
And we can find comfort, that the tax office and council rates letters will still come.
As will the water meter reader.
In the meantime I'll try to get the grass cut.
