Era known as "Gary". Jimbo is the archaeologist of Gary-ness
There is a strange meal we can partake of, that surpasses the most outlandish social behaviour of writers everywhere. I "kid" you not, do I Gary the Goat? Jimbo would probably not think any of this stuff is weird. This is Jimbo-normal.

I often feel guilty, and try to pull up my socks, both of them at the same time, because the blog entry I'm working on isn't more about the knotty issues of WRITING. But then, writing is about life, isn't it? And life is what life is all about. That sounds 100% logical.
Now I don't feel so bad about being pulled magnetically away from just boring old rehashing of the rules, strategies, shiftiness, thriftiness and nifty-ness of the art of writing. (Whatever the style and genre)

Life spits out some lateral gizmos at times. Gourmet recipes that we eat, sometimes reluctantly, of happenings and incidents that were you to pen them into a novel, the editor would laugh at your verbal synopsis, and hang up the phone.

Yes, there are the Jimbos with their pet goats. There really are these characters who defy the limits of inked words on paper pages, and have somehow escaped these literary confines. They are real people. They carry their outlandish thinking around like a second skin. Perhaps it is their inner self turned inside out. It is honesty personificated like a prawns exoskelington. Anyway.

For the rest of us writers who are only averageishly oddball there is this:

Are you going like a train, or just in training on training wheels and wearing training pants? Across the country loaded up with nostalgia, but no pet goat and no pet cats aboard. You may never see such a sight again. And I know you want to, so badly.

This. Train Buffs...

Should and Must. I think I can? No. I know I can!

So, that's a bunch of random, and some out of date, links that may help jump start your writing ideas and plots.
Some stuff I've stuck into the notepad here on WDC and forgotten the reason the next minute. But usually whatever I paste here is of interest in some way. Unusual, political, noteworthy, weird or just plain life incidents that beggar belief. If you didn't see it with your own internet you wouldn't believe it.

Just who is this Gary, with his owner Jimbo?

We all trust the internet, don't we?
Maybe not, but trust me when I say read, or watch, the following stuff about Gary the Goat, with caution!

There is humour.

But, there is a lot of bad language. There is inappropriateness. There is Goatish behaviour. Don't say you weren't warned.

OK Cat lovers. Here's some stuff tailored especially to suit your passion for these pets.

Nasty little invention. Someone would buy it. Some people will buy anything. Our shed full of useless items proves this *Pthb*

Just to finish up this here blog entry; there is a new strain of seaweed that tastes just like bacon- the scientists claim.

This will completely change the 3+ course(s) of history, entree, + dessert.
