August Back Packing Across Europe Day 21
Prompt: Lyn says we can visit museums or the red light district. There are more sailing trips.
Daniko and I went to two museums. There were paintings and a tea pot that belonged to Hitler. I will pass on that one. A doll and a lamp were there that belonged to Anne Frank. Poor girl. I have never read her dairy. I shy away from those Nazi camps but my heart always went out to Anne. It is just nice to see the sights and taking a trip on the water. We are on a big boat like a yacht. It just smells nice and a cool breeze is blowing.. I am eating a pizza pocket. I didn't see our fellow back packers. I drank some wine and Daniko told me about his family. His family descended from royalty.
Can you believe it rained? We went to one of the restaurants and KitGaby ~ Finding my way backJellyfish were there. We threw nickels in a wine glass and we had enough to buy three drinks. We ate a chicken dinner with mashed potatoes, dressing, bread, carrots, rice and a guy next to me ordered sour kout. I almost vomited. Our food was good. We got free German chocolate cake. I don't like it but I just took the frosting off.
Tomorrow is another day. Sally joined us. She bought postcards for all of us. With postcards and the pictures I have been taking, I have enough to fill 3 scrapbooks! I am going to my hotel. Daniko has a room by me and I will see him tomorrow.
