intoning in a rich soprano voice
it tells me not to think too much
about stuff like
old wounds, young worries and
my remorse about
what I have left unread
what I have left unsaid
what I have crushed into smithereens,
and it adds not to speed along
or climb high hills
even if time has shortened
then it accompanies that
with a strong snicker

Shucks! I am not sure
it knows me anymore
