Blog City image small Prompt: "Fun facts on Friday ....What period of history is most interesting to you?"

I don't know what period I'd consider the most interesting. It would probably be sometime during Biblical days. I often wonder what was going on with the nation of Israel during the time of Alexander the Great for example and aside from the DeuteroCanonical books we have little Bible knowledge from then. However the most important period of history was the day Jesus was crucified through the first day of the following week because events took place that changed the course of history. Even atheists would have to agree that Jesus's death and subsequent resurrection were pivotal moments in the history of mankind. You don't have to believe in these events to admit that they changed the world!
