My b-day.
Once again this will be brief as my ride to church is coming soon.
Around 6 am I heard Jim and my mom getting ready to get her shots. I got up late – unfortunately. I did my readings and then I listened to four songs on YouTube. At some point I read a chapter and then came back and read two more. The last two were short. I’m almost in the middle of the book.
Today is my b-day. I did nothing. Not that I wanted to do anything. A small cake would have been nice. Chad sent all these pics of monkeys saying happy birthday phrases. He won’t get of that stupid thing. I’m hung up on the “Do you know dae wae” meme but that is not verging on derogatory.
My sis left something on my Facebook time line. I didn’t really look at it. I got a notification at the bottom left of my screen. My younger sister sent me a sound bite on my phone of my nieces and nephew singing happy birthday to me. It was cute. My bro sent me happy b-day wishes. He said he wished he had hair.
Jim is at work. I got two more of the pizzas at Albertson’s Jim bought me. They are brand new Artisan pizzas. There are only two kinds I saw. One was a meat pizza and the other one was mozzarella and pesto sauce. It is very tasty. It was 103 degrees out when I went to the store. It is hotter now – about 98 degrees.
I wrote today too for a little over an hour.
Let’s see, what else? I ran into George on the way to the store. He said he does not play games very much anymore and that they are a waste of money. I could agree with him. We were separated by fence so we didn’t talk much. It was good to see him.
Chad is still trying to get a new job. Walgreens is still stiffing him on hours. His PS Plus account expires the 17th. He can’t afford it now.
I’ll spend just a little longer self-editing. Then I’ll send it to a real editor. I am nervous how my story will be received.
My mom ordered even more books for my b-day – a three book series and a single. I’ll also be getting a pair of good jeans and a Starbucks card.
My ride will be here in about 35 minutes. Ricky called me asking if I needed a ride to church. I told him Dan got me covered.
One thing God is telling me is not to get angry at people concerning how they treat me. God loves me and wants to be my friend and that’s all that matters. I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Well, I’m going to listen to some music before I go to church. Goodbye.
