They Gave It All

My savior gave his all for me,, and it is the right thing in life , If I give my all for him,, just as He did for me and for you,,, yes, we can make an impact upon this old world,, I have been working at it for over 63 years of my 75 years of writing for the Lord,, I have seen peoples lives changed for the better, and It has been a rewarding experience for me I have been a volunteer at the nursing home for the past ten years,,(what time I was not a patient of the same place ,three times in the past three years.) I have a news paper colum for the past twenty years ,weekly many poems have encouraged many souls and this poem I wrote here this morning will be my next one for this coming week, yes we can make a difference in this world... we are each unique specimen of the Lords own creation and were made for HIs purpose,,, find it and liive it...is my advice to everyowne who reads this./

Armor of GOD

The Armor of God
If you are an ambassador of Christ the Lord,
You will then love others, in a true one accord
Making sure that you don your armor of God
You are surely need truth, wherever you trod

If you come face to face with the Satanic mind
As you encounter the spiritual deaf and blind
No truth do they know, nor’ peace do they find
Wherever you journey, you find Satan to bind

Your Helmet of Salvation protecting the mind
Holding the Word of God you will use to bind
These words cut deep as they quicken the soul
gathering God’s harvest is now your main goal

Lifting your shield of Faith high up to the sky
deter those fiery darts as they come flying by
For protection wear righteousness breast-plate
Protecting your heart from words, people state

Giving love to people from your loving hearts
Always give forgiveness for those ‘fiery darts’
While girding your loins, in naught but truth
Emit balms of love , upon your enemy soothe

With the Belt of Truth firm around your waist
God’s Truth will win. no matter who is faced
Yes, the Sword of the Spirit, the battle will win
God’s Word, surely alters, any spirit from sin.

As our own brother, the Lord Jesus , our King
Showed us by example how to handle any thing
Sacrificing of self, He shows children His way
How his follower is expected to live this day
