Hey, love! I decided to do a few of your MB Hunt challenges. In particular, I want to do a few for MBs that I will never EVER get any other way. Like, say, the character building one. If you never write stories, you never build characters, right?

I intended to review some of your actual writing, but I'm in more of a chatty mood than an analytical mood. This is also the first item that caught my eye because of the colorful logo (I do love that logo) and matching awardicon. It's just... pretty.

I thought this was a very sweet idea since you first announced it. I have always loved projects like this. They come and go, but I hope this one sticks. It's just... a very nice gesture. People are also always willing to donate for those big trophies if it's someone who does lots for the community. I know that I've held collections for two of them and had no difficulty gathering funds for them. People here are just so generous!

Awesomest Unique Part
I thought that this detail was quite unique: "Any activity that adds SSS as a beneficiary will receive a 10k-25k awardicon!" That is an excellent way to drum up donations, I'd say. Heck, for a ribbon, I would have included you in my Newbie's 1st Birthday raffle this year if I'd had time to run it. Okay, no I wouldn't have (that one goes to benefit Newbie groups/contests/activities, and this is the opposite), but I would have liked to.

Not the Awesomest
I think that using 500k to get a custom MB is a waste of gift points. If someone gets a trophy on their port, how much do you think they'll care about a custom MB that people could get just by donating? Not very much, if at all. Even if the project isn't always a trophy, of all the grand gestures, receiving a custom MB is the smallest. With that 500k, you could give someone an epic status symbol, which seems like a better use of it to me than just getting another custom MB that will be buried in Community pages around WDC. Just saying. No idea where this "every single activity needs its own custom MB" idea came from, but sometimes, it just makes no sense. Obviously you don't feel the same way in this case, but that doesn't mean that I can't share my opinion.

That's it. The best and worst and blah blah blah. I think you are doing a very fine thing here, Aqua. I know that people will really really appreciate it.
