I loved every word of this, I must have read it more than five times so far and I am still going to go back for more.

The title is what first grabbed my attention. By itself it is quite moving.

I was reminded of stories that my grandmother used to tell me about living through a war. She used to tell me that her suffering was great and she lived in a state of constant terror, however, no one seemed to care, and the earth seemed to continue to revolve around the sun, regardless of her suffering.

If blood were to appear on the map for every area where it's spilled, I think we would have an all red map. At least then it won't be easy to pretend that everything was fine.

I really loved the ending. And the question: "How to wipe it up?" made me stop and think. Is that even possible? To wipe it? To erase everything that happened? To take back the pain? I could just envision this city that once stood proud in all its glory and is now reduced to shambles; a shadow of its former self.

And yet the fighting continues, and the blood stains spread.

I am so glad I got to read this. It is quite beautiful!

Many thanks for a wonderful read!
