Painting time. Drew came and visited Valerie's house and successfully convinced grandfather to allow him to help paint the barn. The scrapping came first, sanding came second after Valerie thought it okay to check on them, and then the prime paint came third. Drew worked successfully and then lunch came. Then they had some free time so went to bedroom. Valerie's cat decided to join in and Drew accepted, not having met a cat before. Then after a couple hours he went and helped put the first coat of red paint on. The barn looked great. One side almost complete. It ends with them taking a shower and getting to bed.
