My name is Angelica, I am one of the sly foxes.

Title: Madness

First Impression: Madness brings on more madness. A discrepancy of wisdom, a "parasite on the innocence" meaning it attaches to the innocence and steals the mind. Revenge, "destruction of enemies" meaning it destroys the enemies, at least their properties and normal daily lives. Defender of own home, law, and justice. Upholding what is right. Getting even with fire or sword. The next set of lines of the poem is the person speaking with experience, as if they had to live through the motives and values of the first set of words spoken. Defending their home and what is right to facing a battlefield that lays before him/her. Spooky if you think about it in numbers.

Madness runs deep in the lives of these characters. They have to shed loss of lives in order to defend what is right. This sounds like it'd be a novel with action in it. Is there any bright side to the fight? I know there is a figurative message deep within this poem but I might guess it wrong. But it's the struggle that's the madness to stand up for what's right. Good message. There's a lot being said in just a few words.

What needs your attention: No spelling or grammar errors found.

What part I liked best: Last two lines of the first stanza seems like a goal and hope for the speaker. Their purpose of facing these struggles and overcoming many obstacles.

Overall impression: The madness seems to be the situations and struggles presented in this poem. Out of the madness is a goal for what is right in the speaker's mind. Their purpose in doing these things. It's the law and it's their home they are dealing with. But the obstacles they face is what they consider madness. Good point. Good job and keep up the good work!

Thank you for allowing me to read your work. It has been my pleasure.
