What a charming response to the prompt! Though it's flash fiction, all the characters and their points of view come across.

I knew there'd be a twist, that she'd wind up winning, and I was kept reading to find out how. You wove the tale well and the climax sure brought a big smile.

My only suggestion would be for WritingML - font, size and line space.
