The title and the intro line are intriguing and it's not clear how they fit together. The poem itself fits well with the intro line, but how does something crashing in like a meteor work with "Escape?"

This made me look up Lituya Bay. Quite the natural event! Have you seen it in real life? Seeing the pictures online make me want to go there and see it.
