What I liked:

*Bulletv* I love your title. It really drew me into the poem. It does, indeed, sound very magical. And as I started to read, I loved the falling star at the beginning. This gave a great visual for me. I could see the star-filled sky with this one magical falling star crossing the sky, before fading away. Love it.

*Bulletv* I love that the poem continues to tell a story of the wish you made upon the star. A little dragon, with a star on its forehead, looks up at the narrator, at the reader, and smiles, and it is so cute. I am in love with that dragon.

*Bulletv* I like your use of free verse in this poem. It is my favourite type of poetry, and you have written a really great example of it. I love the ending, with the stars reflected in the lake. It feels like the poem came full circle.

Suggestions:

I guess, mostly, I would have liked a few more visuals. Like, what colour was the dragon, what texture when the narrator climbed on its back?

Parting comments:

This is a cute, enjoyable poem. I love the images of stars that flow through the whole poem. I also really like the magical feeling, in particular, the sense of riding on the back of this dragon in flight.
