I was easily able to feel the tension, horror, and fear of the pigeon as it tried to escape the clutches of the cat and as the cat finally held it between it's paws. The cats emotions also were evient to me. i felt the thrill of the chase. Visualizing the scene was exciting and easy to do.

I'm glad the pigeon survived.

I suggest to help more readers find your story that you use these generas:
Action/adventure because there is plenty of action, horror/scary because this is a horror for the pigeon, relationship because your story is showing the relationship between the cat and the pigeon, thriller/suspense because it is a chase and the outcome keeps the reader in suspense wondering if the cat will survive, and possibly religeon because you mention a marathon running priest.

Thank you for writing and sharing your word art about the chase between the cat and the pigeon with me and WdC members.

"a very Wodehouse challenge
