The Writing.Com Ice Cream Social


Have you ever attended an ice cream social? If you have, then you know that it's usually an event where people from a neighborhood gather together, eat ice cream, sell raffle tickets where a portion goes towards a particular fundraiser, a band performs, and door prizes are handed out to those in attendance.

While Writing.Com can't hold a physical ice cream social, I thought it would be neat to host a virtual ice cream social of sorts. While I couldn't find a band to perform for us, I'm sure we could all tune to the same Internet radio station and jam away while we visit the various booths available. As for a charity or fundraiser, I figured "RAOK Upgrade Brigade Group"  is always a good cause.
