this poem is a discription of the lies we live and what effect it has on our lives
tangled by the storm, cradled by the sound
silent from the sun, tattered by the trees
scarred from past memories, charred by the moments

jolted by the thunder that keeps me captive here
ruptured by the lightning that seems to abandon me

washed away by the rain, stained by the past
blind from the effects of life, deaf from the sounds

poised by the people, shattered by their silent thoughts
torn by the weary, worn by the weak
