Nightmare come true. A poem of a haunting that comes true with death
The Boogieman comes to take you away,
He searches by night and hides by day,
He knows who to take, only the best of the bunch,
This knowledge is fact not a particle of hunch.

When he enters your home not a sound he will make,
He will creep to your room, your soul he will take.
He comes with the shadows and there he will hide,
Until at last you’re asleep then he creeps up to your side.

With a cold hand he will reach in your heart,
He will grab your soul, that’s when your journey will start.
Down to the depths of hell you will go,
The lower he takes you the more horrors will he show.

You will scream for help and pray that someone hears,
However, all of your pleading only falls on deaf ears.
At last, you will give up and surrender your will,
Your hopes and your dreams are no longer yours still.

Just as your life at last slips away,
Your eyes open up to the light of a new day.
Your heart beats fast as the horror replays in your head,
Then you hear a voice in your ear asking: “How does it feel to be DEAD!”
