Love Story.
I was once told, by a passerby, that I could hold the
Key. I believed him to be insane. How could I a simple
Man of twenty and four possibly hold the key to
Anything besides the front door to my apartment? He
Passed by as fast as he had stopped me and I thought
Nothing of it, till the day came that this man was
Right.

It happened on my twenty fifth birthday. "Happy
Birthday brother!" said James my younger sibling. I
Had not been looking foreword to this birthday. I had
Been depressed all week and the party made it worse
All my close friends and relatives where there. Except
Alyssa my girlfriend, she disappeared months ago right
After the passerby I had meet told me that I could
Hold the key, to what I did not know yet. My family
Thought the party would cheer me up but it did not it
Made me miss her even more for she was the only one
That could make this party worthwhile with her wild
Attitude and her funny ways. I still wanted to find her even if others had given up on her. She was everything to me. " Hey stop thinking about that past think about your future, I have found the prefect girl for you to date bro." "Who?” “Her names Sara, I met her at a fund raiser last month. She was not what you would call my style, but she may very well be yours. Looking back I never thought I would be the one going date after my one true love was gone but the next week, here I was on the date with Sara. She was not that far off she was pretty; dare say much better looking then Alyssa. But I was not with Alyssa just for looks it was something much more. Sara and I went to a little restaurant near where I lived it was not so fancy as the ones on Main Street but they served good food. We where seated at table 12 and giving menus. We started to talk. “So my brother tells me that you met at a fund raiser, yet he didn’t tell me what the fund raiser was for.” She looked at me, her blue eyes twinkling in the candlelight that was situated in front of her. “Well he didn’t met me at a fund raiser we met actually at a bar near where I leave, he seemed quite desperate to hook you up with me.” She moved her eyebrows up as she took a sip from her drink. “ I am sorry for that, I guess my bro wants me to be happy or something.” I was about to explain the story of my girlfriends disappearance, when she suddenly said, “I know all about your ex and I am so sorry about that.” she touched my hand it was so warm it felt good. What she said next made that warmth disperse. “But you know we should not dwell on past endeavors after all she is maybe and possible dead for that matter you should move on with your life.” I had tried so hard to forget what she said that I think I may have gotten an ulcer right then. “Um excuse me for a sec, Sara.” “Uh sure, hurry back.” I went to the restroom; inside I dosed my face down with water and looked up into the mirror that was in front of me. My brown hair was slicked back, black circles incased both of my eyes. I had not slept in days; I really did not know why I still went on this date with this woman I did not know. Suddenly something unexpected happened in the restroom that I was in. the ground started shaking. At first it was minor shakes then they become much bigger. I held onto the sink like it was the last lifeline to this world. Hairline cracks appeared around the floor that I stood. I looked up into the mirror cracks appeared in the mirror also. The ones in the mirror became bigger. “Holy crap.” I knew what would happen before it happened. The mirror exploded in shards of glass. I dove out of the way. I hit the floor. The shards hit the stall that I was just in front of. “What the hell is going on?” I whispered to myself. This was a city New York City in fact. “Gah, I have to get out of here before I get skewered.” The shakes got more violent; things began to fall from the ceiling. I made my way out the door into the restaurant. What I saw shocked me, gaping holes filled the floors, and it was like mini meteors hit the restaurant. Bodies where in the holes. I felt sick to my stomach. What was going on? It seemed everyone was dead, even Sara. But wait everyone was not dead I was still alive, and even though all this carnage was laid out in front of me, I was happy to be alive. I carefully made my way through the wreckage to the front door. Things outside where much worse then inside.
