Stirring
My soul is twisted
Around a shattered heart
Trying so hard
To keep it together

I’m about to lose it all

My mind,
Cluttered with a thousand memories
A thousand
Desperate cries in the dark
Silenced
By the still cool air
Frozen in the dead streets

We all walk alone in death

I’m falling
But I can gain balance
I think I can
The cobblestone is tricky
When you’re drunk
On empty faith
And hope
