Tragic Family Love

There are many things in life that we won’t understand in life until we are on the point of leaving this world...one of them is love. This is a story of a boy and a girl who wanted to be together but could not because their love, their life and their families were built on a web of lies, blinded by the Innocence of their passion they were close enough to be brother and sister.

In the dark of the night there stood a crying couple. Because of their life of lies and deceit they were forced to leave each other forever. Each held in their arms a precious bundle of life, although they might not see each other again Sam and Eugenia knew that they had to do this to ensure that their children could leave a happy life, a life without danger or sadness. As Sam said his last good-byes he slowly walked away with regret and sadness. As his car drove away into the distance he looked into the rear view mirror, tears streaming, watching the only person that he cared for and loved so much that he would die for, fade away.

…20 years later…

Jade and Taison went through their days as usual. An announcement suddenly came through the speaker. “Would Jade Chang and Taison Han please report to Mr. Smith’s office immediately?”
Surprised at the sudden calling, Jade and Taison left their work and hurried to the CEO’s office from opposite ends of the building. As he was walking briskly, Taison saw something that stopped him in his tracks. There walking towards him was the most beautiful girl he had seen. He didn’t know what it was but he felt an immediate connection. He realized that it was Jade Chang and she was going into the office. Wanting to be a gentleman he hurried and opened the door for her. She smiled shyly and said thank you. Once in the office, the CEO announced that they would be working together. It was unexpected but neither of them minded. it wasn't long before they found themselves looking into each others eyes. one day taison eventually plucked up the courage to ask Jade out. Jade smiled happily and agreed. the
first date went really well and over a period of time they developed a strong relationship. the only problems were their parents. there was something that their parents weren't telling them as to why they can't be together. one night as taison walked through the door he found his father sitting at the table waiting for him.
what his father was about to tell taison was going to haunt his mind till the end of his days. as taison sat there in utter amazement and shock, he listened to his father retell the tragic beginning of his life. how taison got separated from his sister. how his mother was forced to move away. it eventually came to a point where sam could not speak anymore. the words were lodged in his throat waiting to be let out but sam could not bear to see the expression on his sons face anymore. taison was completely shocked by now but managed to ask "father, whya re u telling me this now, how is it important to my relationship with Jade?!"
Sam looked away and said the 4 most hurtful words that taison will ever hear. "she is your sister"
taison was beyond shock now...he slowly stood up and crossed the room. went up the stairs and locked himself in his room without a word. his father knew what this must felt like and did nothing to stop him, but could only watch, tears falling down his face, as his son's happines was replaced by grief and sorrow.
as soon as taison was in his room he let the tears he had been holding back stream. why..why did this have to happen to him..suddenly the phone rang. interrrupted by his grief, taison had no intention of answering the phone..but it jept on ringing. wearily picking up the phone he was more grief stricken at the voice of Jade's mother, his mother. but nearly all of this was forgotten when Jade's mother said she was in the emergency hospital room. he managed to say that he would be there right away. Sam was surprised to see his son down so quickly. when taison explained what had happened sam knew that he had to go too. she may be my sister but that doesn't stop me from loving her he thought as he drove to the hospital. once there taison ran to her room to see how she was doing. Jade was in a coma. walking slowly to her side taison looked sadly at her pale face. she was everything he had wanted in a girl and now they can't be together.

everyday from that day forward taison visited Jade whenever he could. every once in a while he would bring her fresh flowers and every day he would talk to her hoping, always hoping, that she would wake up. a few weeks passed and still nothing. one night he just sat there. he decided to tell her the truth about them.i wierd feeling of de ja vu brought him back to the night where he had sat down with his father, he knew the pain but the truth had to be told. he started off looking at the floor telling her everything. if he had looked at her face he would have noticed the tears streaming down her face onto her pillow. when he had finished she slowly opened her eyes. taison was so happy that she was awake that he forgot everything else. she was still crying.it was so hard for her to take everything in after her car accident, but this news was beyond everything she could imagine. sobbing uncontrolably Jade lashed out at taison unexpectedly-"why are u telling me this?! our relationship was perfect!! perfect!! and now we cant be together anymore!! i loved u taison!! i loved u!!" distraught and pained Jade took a look at the saline drip she was put on and she squeezed the bag. Taison yelled out but it was too late. a lethal dose had killed her. Everything in his life collapsed and fell to pieces. He took his mobile out and recorded a final message to his parents. he left the mobile there and ran as fast as he could out of the hospital. it was all he could do. jumping in the car he sped off into the distance.
Sam and Eugenia rushed into Jade's room. the sight that met them there was shattering...it was there daughter on the floor dead. Eugenia fainted into Sam's arms and he just slowly sank to the floor, overwhelmed by grief. all he could do was hold his wife in his arms and cry. cry for all the lies, for all the pain, for all the loss. it was all a blur to him as nurses and doctors rushed into the room. he could not hear anything they were saying to him and refused to be moved. he sat there slumped against the wall overcome by sadness. when nothing alse could be worse the news came on. the reporter was at a scence where a car had been smashed into a tree. it had happened not 5 minutes ago but it was then that Sam realised what Taison had done.
it was then that Sam saw Taisons mobile on the floor. it was open to a recording. getting up and walking out of the room ignoring the people calling him back. he pressed play and listened to the last words of his son."dear father and mother. since i have discovered the truth about my life i cannot bear to live anymore. the only thing that held me back was Jade and my love fo rher. now she is dead and there is nothing stopping me from ending my misery. father if you are listening please grant me this wish. do not kill yourself but learn from this. i do not want anybody else getting hurt. i have learnt that love is not a thing to be messed with and now i understand how it feels to die for soemone you love.Goodbye"
we all know that nothing good can come out of lies. but when you build your life, your dreams, your everything on lies it will come crashing down eventually, and when it does its your loved ones who will be hurt the most.
