Fox Septet poem about spring
springtime comes
close on winter’s heels
warm air whispers its coming
once bare branches now heavy with buds
wave a greeting to the sun
birds chirp happily
here and there
looking for insects
flowers unfurl their petals
showing off new clothes for all to see
butterflies flit crazily
searching for nectar
once again
