Art drawing on life's experiences and translating it into a contemporary work.
If you should happen upon my love's cold grave
Lay down some roses for the wind to save
I've been dragging it out and living underground
Hearing not a sound
Fearing nothing and not relinquishing
The lights so high above me.

If I had a knack for it I suppose one day
I might rise up and taste the fresh new day
But I've been dragging it out and living a lie
Listening to on high
Dreading nothing and not relinquishing
The lights so high above me.

If there was some way that I could speak through rock
You might just hear these dying roses talk
But I've been dragging it out and hoeing my garden
Give me your pardon
Ive been Mourning everything and not relinquishing
The lights so high above me.
