Seasons change

The world sleeps peacefully at night

Waiting for the sun to rise

To warm its face and chase the chill

From animal, bird and daffodil

And once again to scorch the leaves

To fall and swirl upon the breeze

Waiting for the setting sun

Now its journey's finally done
