a poem about when i passed out because of australias spring heat.
Passing Out of Heat

Heat builds
Each breath brings an unwelcome degree
Seat drips
Tears fall
Knees weaken
Blood ushes
Light Flashes
Then the whole worlds go black
You fall to the ground
The heat is too much
Your eyes slowly shut
And your mind lets go of reality

You wake
Oblivious to this world
Only to the dry and ever increasing heat
It fills your mind
Sizzles it
'Til you can no longer
grasp living thought.
