The author's message to people who take poetry for granted
NOTE: This was a poem we made in English class, so pardon the similarity to Tree by Joyce Kilmer *Smile*

I think that I shall never love
A poem as lovely as a dove
For a poem is inanimate
Only those words could one relate

But to someone inspired by love
A poem is not meant for one to shove
To some, what is written is spite
But those who understand find light

I may write of love forbidden
Or my heart angry and broken
You may find it all absurd
If this love's like sight blurred

If I have not loved anyone
This poem of mine could come undone
If this poem of mine come undone
Then my soul and heart are long, long gone
