Poem of sensible nonsense, which eventually makes perfect sense out of the non-sensible!
Enlightened by the brilliant dark
Cast by a frozen sun,
The shadows of a million stars
Divide and become one.

The clock turns back the future
And youth comes as we age,
We close the book to read the tune
On each unwritten page.

The shallow depth of reason
Makes riddles out of rhyme,
So eloquently twisted
The words lose track of time.

When yesterday holds secrets
Told by tomorrow's past,
The fastest runner falls behind
The one who raced in last.

Invisible is clearly seen,
Though never quite perceived,
Reality clouds what is felt
And blindly is believed.

When lack is so abundant
That void is filled with naught,
The hopes of all the nothingness
Elusively are caught.

The poverty of riches
The miser will deplore,
Rewards will be paid after
The wealth of debt before.

The thinker climbs beneath the mind,
A mime upon a stage,
Then rants in gentle raving
The prayers of quiet rage.

The tears of grim hilarity,
So innocently malicious,
Taste sweetly salty to the touch
And bitterly delicious.

The distance of your closeness
Folds corners inside-out,
The wrongness of your justice
I absolutely doubt.

The calmness of the frightened mind
In chaos becomes still,
Insanity, the sanest voice,
Will light the fires that chill.

The roaring sound of silence
Yells out in whispered scream,
The lie is falsely truthful,
We fall awake to dream.

When never lasts forever,
Two merge and come undone,
The sense of non is perfect....
The sum of both is none.
