True love, and how it feels to feel it.
Life is said to be a journey
In which we all are on,
We are all moving in a direction
Whether it be right or it be wrong.

We find someone we like
We say they came from above,
We tell everyone that we think,
We think that we are in love.

In our minds they can do no wrong
In our minds they are right,
Even when they are screaming at you
Every day and every night.

We can't see it ourselves
But, we have once or twice been told,
They are treating us horribly
And we can't break the hold.

Finally the relationship will end
And all our family and our friends
Seem to stand there and look,
At our torn hearts that won't mend.

With each relationship after
We try to fill that hole,
With whatever we can
With no thoughts or no goal.

We say things to convince ourselves
That everything is better,
Like saying its sunny
When it horrible stormy weather.

And when we aren't looking
A real angel comes along,
When we aren't listening
We hear a heavenly song.

And while we were sleeping
That person enters our life
That pulls out the daggers
And removes the deeply wedged knife

When we don't want to
We do fall in love
When we said we won't
We deeply fall in love

True love is felt by the soul
True love is sung deep from in the heart
No matter how long you are with them
You never want to be apart.

You have said it about the others,
It can't get better than this
But that was a lie
Because I will tell you this

When you are with the one, that is meant to be
You will know that it does get better...
Only if you spend your life
Loving them forever...
