Giivng someone a new life.....
The sun was rising among the tall mountains in the village, giving an announcement to the villages that yet another beautiful day has begun for them. But for the boy who lived in the valley just below the hills it was the gloomiest day of his life. His name was Allan and he was living there in the village along with his parents. The sun rose on them with his father being taken to the hospital from a sudden heart decease. He was taken in an ambulance and just as the vehicle reached the hospital he breathed his last breath, leaving the son and wife in painful tears. The father was the only bread maker in the family and his mother was never ever able to find a job for her in the village. So with the dear the Mr. Browns they became poor day by day.

A month passed by from Brown’s death, the mother thought of moving into the city to find a job. The closest city was Texas. It was a hard journey for them as they had very little money left with them. They took a train to the city. During that long travel Mrs. Stephanie Browns prayed the god to find herself a job so that she could spend for her son’s schooling and other expenses. But Allan was so sad that he had to leave the village and his friends. He thought that he is going to have the worst time in his life and it’s never going to be the same again and one day he’ll have to regret what he had done. They reached Texas after traveling for one & a half days. The first battle was to find a house for them to stay in. After extensive search they found a small apartment by the end of a narrow road where only a few number of families lived in. Some of them lived in apartments that were similar to theirs and some lived in Big Housed with all the luxury they could have.

The very next day Stephanie when in search of a job to make her living, leaving the son behind. She went from office to office, shop to shop but nobody offered her a job. It was getting dark and she could not stay there for long. As the last option she went to a shopping mall that was on a street far away from her home, they offered her a job as a Sales person to sell all the items they have and to assist the customers in buying what they really want. She was so happy and she had to start working in two days time. Stephanie went home overjoyed and told the son the happy news she had. On the next day she went to a nearby school and registered her son with the school.

It was Stephanie’s first day to work. She dropped her son in the school and left for work. While she was spending her time in the shopping mall, her son had a very good time at school. Allan was always a bright kid and he quickly grasped whatever he was taught and since he was a very nice boy, he got a lot of friends in no time. When he was coming home from school he saw a little girl who was in the same age, sitting on a bench talking to herself and tearing a paper into pieces. He felt that there must be something wrong with her and pitied her. The good hearted boy went up to her. When he was just about to talk to her some of his friends came and dragged him away from her. He asked why they had done that and the answer he got was”Don’t you know she a mad girl? Nobody has ever talked to her. She doesn’t lean anything at school. She is a complete waste.” Although Allan did not try to talk to her again, still he felt sorry for her and still had the desire to talk to her.

Allan went home with a sad heart. When he went home, his mother was there waiting for him. Both of them discussed their new experience with each other. He told her about the girl and his mother said “Don’t think about other’s comments, talk to her if you really want. Perhaps that might make her back to normal again.” The kind, young heart filled with joy. The next day after the school was over Allan went in search of the girl. He couldn’t find her anywhere. Feeling very upset at heart, he left school. On the way back home he met a group of his friend playing football by the street. He joined them and enjoyed the time very much. Suddenly the ball went over someone’s head and fell into a house from the window. All the boys were reluctant to go and get the ball, so Allan went and rang the door bell, but nobody answered it. He came back to his friends and said what has happened. Just then, he saw a ladder lying on the floor. He took it and kept it close to the wall and started climbing it. Finally Allan reached the room where the ball fell. When he jumped inside his sight surprised him. There was the girl who he had tried to talk to at school. She was holding the ball in her hands and gave it to him. He thanked her and asked for her name. But she didn’t answer and soon started tearing pieces of paper like the other day and he knew it was no use trying to talk to her. He climbed the ladder down and joined his friends, but didn’t say anything about what has happened.

The same thing happened several times. One day she was so violent that she hit him with everything that was around and hearing the sound her mother came and asked Allan to run out of the house. He went downstairs and he got a chance to hear her sad story from the mother. Her name was Marry. About two years back when the mother was there somebody has got into the house and killed her father, not knowing that the little girl was there hiding under a sofa, looking at her beloved father being killed. She could see blood pouring from her father’s face as he fell down and could hear his painful cries that echoed in the room. After the killer went, slowly she had come out of her hiding place and was crying out loud when her mother got in. The mother was shocked to see the sight of the father and daughter. From that day onwards she had never talked to anyone and was violent sometimes in the same way she was with Allan. As soon as she finished her story Allan ran away from the house to his house and told the story in one breath to his mother.

After that day, he began visiting Mary everyday after school and slowly she began to talk to him. Little by little she began to tell her story and she recovered from her shock. Allan was so happy and all his friends who were teasing her before, was talking and smiling with her soon. She started doing well at school and soon became a bright student like Allan himself. The teaches praised Allan for making the girl recover and Mary’s mother was ever so grateful to him for making her life back to normal again. One year passed by in this manner, with two good friends helping each other at each and every time.

One year ago Allan thought he was going to have the worst life ever, when he was traveling in the train to go to Texas. But now he had a whole new life. They were rich by now and he had brought back life to a girl who had been dead at hear for a long time. As the sun goes down in front of these two young lives, there’s only one thing that fills inside Allan’s mind ONCE UPON  A TIME WHEN I WAS TRAVELLING IN A TEXAS TRAIN…………………..
