The undeniable truth.
Blank sheets of paper best describe my state of mind
Crumpled and torn- stretch marks of my legacy
I’ve awoken into someone else’s coma
These bones are not mine to ache
Yet...
I recall the screams of a girl I used to know
The eye of the father who was never there
A mother’s imprint (she’s still waiting for an explanation)
Her sister’s dire need for someone’s direction
And then the most painful one of all

A man’s hand grazing her body… Never the same one twice

She called upon me to draw her from existence
To give her strength she had never known
Now I’m plagued with her memories
With no identity of my own
I’m drifting along the shores of reality and façade
The worst limbo of them all

What have I done to deserve this infliction?
