MORNING AFTER MORNING
AGAINST A GOLDEN SKY

Morning after morning against a golden sky
mountains crown there splendor
as shadows race and hide
pearsing rays of sunlight
beneath the forest trees
waterfalls escaping
through valleys roaring free
a gentle breeze comes calling
sweeping through the pines
an eagle spreads her wings
over meadows soars and glides
graced by flowered beauty
suspended there in time
hidden there inside my heart
against a golden sky.
