After I understood, what she had said I wanted to express, how my heart bled
Did you not wonder how it felt
Did you not pause as I knelt
Did you enjoy the muscled resistance?
As your sword, ended my existence

Did you not know, the savage run
Did you not care, the damage done
Did you feel my ribs part?
As your blade pierced my heart

Your words heard, slicing and meant
You told me of need, your content
I wished you the best, as light waned
Eyes glazed over, reason to live, faded

You did not see, as despair seeped
You saw only your need, as your scythe reaped
Try not to slip, under your boot that is not mud
It is my soul and my love, my life's blood.
