Leann Rimes's, "How do I live without you" Lyrics included as part of my short story.
Mr. Miller, you expect the jury to believe that you, a nineteen year old man wouldn’t know what effect rohypnol, more commonly known as the date-rape drug, would have on her?

No.  I didn’t....
We where planning to get married....

Oh come on. You knew what you were.....

Your Honor, I object. The prosecution is badgering the witness.

Sustained.

~How do I get through one night without you

(sniffles)
I gave her the drug to calm her! She was nervous about being in my house, where I lived with my girlfriend at the time. I only wanted to..... (sniffles)

Yes, Mr. Miller, we all know what you wanted.

~If I had to live without you
What kind of life would that be

We the jury, find the defendant.... guilty........

(sobbing)

~Oh I, I need you in my arms
Need you to hold
You're my world, my heart, my soul

(sobbing)
(sounds of footsteps pacing the floor)

~If you ever leave
Baby you would take away everything good in my life

(sobbing)

~And tell me now
How do I live without you

Dear Mom,
I love you with all my heart. But

~I want to know
How do I breathe without you

my life without Becky will never be the same. This pain will never end

~If you ever go
How do I ever, ever survive

and I can’t bear it any longer. It’s just too hard. She was my life,

~How do I
How do I
Oh, how do I live

the only girl I ever truly loved.

~Without you, there'd be no sun in my sky
There would be no love in my life
There'd be no world left for me

and now she’s gone.
(sniffling)

~And I, oh Baby, I don't know what I would do
I'd be lost if I lost you

My life has ended. There’s no longer any purpose for me.

~If you ever leave
Baby you would take away everything real in my life

I love you mom. Please forgive me. I never meant to hurt you.

(sniffling)

~And tell me now

~How do I live without you
I want to know
How do I breathe without you
If you ever go
How do I ever, ever survive
~How do I
How do I
Oh, how do I live

(shuffling of feet)
(sheets being pulled tight against metal bars)

~Please tell me baby
How do I go on

(sobbing)
(thud)

“In breaking news....Nineteen year old Rebecka Flench was arrested earlier this morning. The nineteen year old, who had apparently faked her death, will soon face a jury of her peers, on charges of fraud.

The nineteen year old, believed to have died by a drug overdose seven months ago, was spotted by detectives leaving her hotel.

Mary Flench, the mother of the nineteen year old woman, has also been arrested in conspiring with Miss Flench to defraud the Insurance company of three million dollars in the death of her daughter.

A more bazaar twist to this sad and revealing story is the one we brought to you last night about a nineteen year old prisoner who had hung himself in his cell. Nineteen year old Anthony Miller was charged with the death of Rebecka Flench when jurors found Miller guilty of drugging Flench with a fatal amount of the drug- rohypnol. Miller insisted on his innocents, claiming to have only given her enough of the drug to calm her. The judged sentenced Miller to fifteen years imprisonment. Miller was found dead after serving only one month of his fifteen year sentence.“

~If you ever leave
Baby you would take away everything good in my life

“Stay tuned to channel fourteen news for the latest developments of this tragic story as it unfolds. Now, Bob, back to you with the weather.”

~And tell me now
How do I live without you
I want to know
How do I breathe without you
If you ever go
How do I ever, ever survive
~How do I
How do I
Oh, how do I live

~how do I live without you
how do I live without you baby
