A long time friend walks away from the friendship that has survived for years.
As you walk away
I search my mind.
For memories to play,
That you left behind.

The tears start to fall
And I turn around.
As you take it all
And my emotions drown.

You don’t seem to realize
As you slam the door.
That the look in my eye
Won’t take this anymore
