When your living life but not really living it
She felt like she was watching the world through a window
She wasn’t really living her life
Instead she watched everyone else living theirs
People spoke to each other
But no one ever spoke to her
She was unseen
She was invisible
She floated around every day
But the glass stood between her and reality
She had her own world
The glass was all her doing
Maybe one day she would find the courage inside
The courage to live
The courage to love
The courage to allow herself to get hurt
But until she found that courage
She would continue to watch the world through a glass window
