Pointlessness

Minute made, maid? A service unpaid
For pride and love I find myself lost.
For who? The child weak and stupid?
Not a shell, at least then  I would be blind!
A cage torture’s me with sights and no touch
Did I bring this torture upon myself?
Good Day, Bad Night. Wash, rinse, repeat.
Ever think why you do what you do?
Mostly because you are told to.
Silly boy, silly question with no answer near.
Born with good faith I lost it all somewhere,
Surely not to be found at this place.
I waste my mind and time repeating myself,
Walking mile long circles.
