this is a hard one to describe..
Hope

Words of despair reach my ears.
Hope is fading but not yet lost.

Together we walked,
Together we talked,

Yet in your eyes the shine is lost.
And in your eyes I see a man,

Whose heart is drained and
Whose soul is mislaid

But in your heart. I dare to say
I find a light most any day

For there I see the one inside
The body and soul of, the one outside

The heart speaks to me of pain
Where once it spoke to me of Joy

A Heart so shattered. A Heart so lost
Cannot not found without a cost.

For there her arms came in to say
"I love you forever, and I'm here to stay"

Sorrow and hurt left the body,
And love filled the heart where once it stood

So bold
So proud

But Deep in a secret chamber did she sleep
The mistress of the dark and of the deep

For there she opened the bottle once more
And furrowed her brow and whispered in low

"Much that once was is lost - forever more"
And cast out from her chamber the bottle inside

Where the agony and
The gloom did thrive.

I tell this tale with tears in mine eyes
And look up into yours and realize

That all the love and all of the dreams
All of the late night fantasies and daydreams

carry on like a strand inside of us all
Like a shimmer of hope for fear to fall

Not knowing the future
Not knowing the past

For now, I fear, The veil is cast
Over a soul and over the heart

A tether of pain
Retains the tide

I wipe my eyes and pray for a day
when we will over look it someday

And we will look back at the trials we've shared
and find a lost hope inside these hearts so marred

Like a dove flying high
With white wings outstretched.

As the waves upon the sands of the beach.
As the springtime passing with light breezes

So is the bottle of pain to be
Only a change and a hard one to see

But remember these words, She says in a sigh
"I promise to not leave you. And I will try

To Write you a note, or a poem I must say
and tell you something to brighten your day.

Only will you find, on the wings of time
What the pain and the sorrow hide behind

And are short lived for while.
and I will still be here, even after the trials

For nothing can take this heart from your own
And no one can tame this water with just one stone.

Your heart is like water.
Always moving, always changing

And when the boulder of sorrow
Or the boulder of pain finds its way to you tide

A new path you will seek
and a new path you will and find."

So I take your hand and together we see
Two hearts broken and deceived

Brought together not by chance or by mistake
but by the warmness of one fireplace

And Hold your hand. I always will
As the seasons change and life is still

Even when the other falls behind
Even when the path is hard to find

Together we fight side by side
And forever we dance in the moonlight

As the trials pass us by,
and the storms of thunder rumble inside.

There by each other side we will be
For to this door there is no key

Only, sometimes, a harder push it will take
To open this door and remember the place

Where once we stood, by each others side
And always will be until the day that we die.

Where white wings of doves will carry us away
In the form of white sails and a harbor and bay.

But for now let us try to hold strong to this song
we have played. Together have sung and danced in the rain.

For I find that right now
At this very moment, maybe

I can try to hold on
I'll always hold on

but weaker I stand with out you by my side
and stumble on this path with no rhythm or rhyme

I'll reach for your hand to help me along
And plead for some sign that you will come home

But waiting as always
so patient, so long

And wait forever, I will, just for you
as a friend and as a family would do

With hope that you are not gone.
