A poem I wrote when I broke up with my loved one... and my life...
My life was so happy, so content,
Now my spirit remains unsent.
So blissful, so full of light
Now dark like tainted night.

Darkness now flows like an endless creek,
The despair that waxes as I speak
And things aren't meant to be,
As if no one can see...

The things I'll miss,
Times of infinite bliss,
Thinking of you, now and then,
Knowing that I'll never see you again...

Dawn may break, but the sun doesn't rise
Gone like the sun, my spirit dies
Night may come, but stars never shine,
Sad to know, it was once mine.

Day may come but light won't break,
My heart is gone, my spirit won't wake,
So far away now from the path I'd led
Far from living, now considered dead

I miss all the things about you,
My heart laden now laden with rue,
I cannot bear to live anymore,
This pain is too hard to ignore...

The things that will be gone,
I know that I'll miss anon,
Imagining you then and away,
Wondering what I would say...

"Without you, I cannot live,
My heart just remaning passive,
You know it's meant for us to be
Just please! Please, Come back to me!"

"I beg of you, come back to me!
Maybe you just don't see...
You don't see how much I love you,
Or maybe you hate me like you always do..."

The things I'll miss,
Times of infinite bliss,
Thinking of you, now and then,

Probably never seeing you again...
