Bad experiences will only hurt if we dwell on them.
As I looked back on the past
sitting in the park
I sat regretting the days
those days that were so dark

As I sat there by the Autumn trees
Each leaf did represent
The deeds that brought me to my knees
When you think  you can't repent

For each leaf that falls
It can be crushed, and often looked away
But these tiny pieces that blow away
Will always on earth stay

And as I was sitting wondering
Of deeds I did today
An old Man came up to me
And than began to say

What's done is done
What's past is past
You can't change the sky
You are who you are
So accept the fact
Or inside you will die

For those who think
About what they've done
Who hold on to the past
Cannot take in from the new sun
And their lives will never last

Each leaf that falls
Will stay of course
But only to those few
Who choose to watch them constantly
And don't look for a new

What's done is done
What's past is past
Good leafs will come again
If we choose to look for them
A new life can begin
