How the world is deaf
So sad and numb.
Time is running short-
Do they even realize it?

Continually, we are faced with troubles.
The pains are like being slammed against a wall.
Every person is suffereing-
Does this mean that we can zone it out?

Our advances in this technological world;
They are certainly useless.
All are 'plugged in'.
Can you even tell what is happening around you?

This is a sad world...
You are all numbed.
Face the pains - deal with them.
Look around you - OPEN your eyes!
